About an hour ago we saw a big cat,(who we've seen before and believe may be a neighborhood cat) cross the road into our driveway, then get startled, run back into the road and get hit by a police patrol car! He had big ears and a big goofy smile to go with them.  He grew into those ears...he was 100 pounds as an adult!  Chester was my best friend and protector for almost 13 years.  He was such an important member of our family. Sweet Pea was our first home hatched chick of Hairy and Shasta's.  He was a beautiful and sweet boy.  Hairy and Shasta did a great job of raising him.  When he was a year old, one friday night, he had some kind of a seizure.  He got better after a few minutes but we decided to take him to the vet first thing in the morning. Sweet Pea was our first home hatched chick of Hairy and Shasta's.  He was a beautiful and sweet boy.  Hairy and Shasta did a great job of raising him.  When he was a year old, one friday night, he had some kind of a seizure.  He got better after a few minutes but we decided to take him to the vet first thing in the morning. She was an exceptional dog and I will remember and love her forever. She went through the really tough times with me when Pete was so sick. When I had to put Scout to sleep I had her cremains placed with Pete's cremains.
